Work with raffia to create a coiled basket in colors of your choice. You will learn the starting coil, changing colors, adding raffia and finishing a basket.

Carrie BottoI started weaving on stones with beads about 30 years ago and it evolved from there. I consider my self a multimedia weaver, using beads, yucca, raffia, paper pine needles and rope to create baskets. I also weave with string to create wall hangings and paper cord to sculpt pieces.
