Cancellation Policy

Instructors do a lot of advance preparation for our workshops and they rely on full attendance, but we understand that sometimes a student may need to cancel their workshop registration. If you must cancel, please do it as far in advance as possible.

To cancel your registration

  • Use the link provided in your workshop registration confirmation email
  • Or call us at (505) 323-2315
  • Please note that certain events may be non-refundable (eg. events that take place off-site). This will be noted on the event page on the website.

Refunds

  • 90% refund for cancellations 21 or more days before the first scheduled workshop session. We retain 10% to help cover some of the banking and bookkeeping costs, communications, and marketing expenses to try to fill the empty seat in the workshop. 
  • 80% refund for cancellations 14 – 20 days in advance.
  • 70% refund for cancellations 8 to 13 days in advance.
  • No refund for cancellations 7 days or less before the start of the first scheduled workshop session.

Please note that we can’t ever do a full refund because we need to cover credit card fees and labor costs. Instructors do a lot of advance prep work for these classes and rely on student counts, so if you must cancel, please do it as far in advance as possible.

In case of illness

If you have come down with a contagious illness, please contact us and do not come to the workshop. 

If we cancel a workshop

If an entire course must be cancelled for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund, we will notify you as quickly as possible, and we will attempt to reschedule with the instructor. If you are traveling from out of town to take a workshop, and the workshop is cancelled, we are not liable for any of your costs incurred.
