Beginner Crochet
With Lyn Leshner
Learn all the basics to start stitching in this beginner crochet workshop!
Crochet, which comes from the French word “hook,” is a method of fabric creation where the artist uses a hook to loop yarn together.
For folks interested in a portable craft, this is the fiber art for you! With crochet, you can create clothes, stuffed animals (amigurumi), home decor, and more!
In this beginner crochet workshop, you will practice the two beginning stitches of crochet while you work on your own dish cloth to take home.
The instructor will guide you on how to start and end your project.
At the end of class, you’ll take the second ball of yarn provided to finish your project independently with your new skills.
