National Craft Open Studios Weekend
Free Event
This program is part of Handwork 2026, presented by Craft in America
Join us at Fiber Arts on 4th on July 18-19, 2026 for the American Craft Council’s National Craft Open Studios Weekend!
This is a first-of-its-kind, nationwide celebration inviting the public into the creative spaces of craft artists across the country.
At Fiber Arts on 4th, some of our local instructors will be joining us to share information about their experience as artists, demonstrate their craft, and sell their art.
Ruth Baldwin of The Natural Twist will present indigo dye demonstrations at 11am on Saturday and Sunday!
Visitors on Sunday will also have the opportunity to view our workshop happening in the back building.
View an interactive map of artists across the country at on the American Craft Council website.

National Craft Open Studios Weekend is presented by the American Craft Council and launches as part of Craft in America’s Handwork: Celebrating American Craft 2026. Similar to what Record Store Day or Independent Bookstore Day do for their creative ecosystems, National Craft Open Studios Weekend will provide support for artists and makers, and strengthen the national craft community through shared storytelling.
