Textile Origami
With Kristine Berg
Join textile artist Kristine Berg to explore the meditative art of origami fabric manipulation. Learn to fold, mark, and stitch fabric into sculptural forms inspired by land, water, and basketry.
With simple tools—a ruler, needle, and thread—you’ll create grids, interpret design charts, and complete two stitched patterns while experimenting with different fabrics.
By the end of the class, you will have two samples to use in your fiber arts projects. Sew into a clothing project, add texture to your quilt by using it as a square– the creative possibilities are endless!
