Ready to delve deeper into twining waxed linen baskets? Join me for a day of instruction and exploration. If you’ve taken any class from me before, you can still learn plenty.
Start with making bases, and/or I will provide a base for you to start on. Choose your thread size based on your skill, speed, and what you want to learn and accomplish. Instruction is individualized as we go so that you can learn and practice exactly what you want.
Lots of demonstrations will help you decide which direction you want to focus on.

Cael ChappellCael Chappell’s basket making grows from his love of basketry. During his years of travel across Africa to meet and work with basket weavers, Cael discovered that basketry is as diverse as it is universal. Cael is inspired by global weaving traditions to create his own uniquely sculptural and whimsical baskets. He conveys his interpretation of places, people, things, and ideas through basketry.
