Craft in America Handwork 2026 Watch Party
This program is part of Handwork 2026, presented by Craft in America
During our normal Fiber Fun Friday hours, we will be hosting a watch party to commemorate the launch of our Handwork 2026 programming.
Fiber Arts on 4th is thrilled to be part of Handwork 2026, a national initiative organized by Craft in America that celebrates the power of making and the communities built through craft. Handwork 2026 nods to the country’s Semiquincentennial by weaving together 250 years of American history through craft and handmade traditions.
In honor of this celebration, PBS released episodes of Craft in America to spotlight regional crafts across four regions (North, South, East and West). We will watch the episode spotlighting the West, which includes a feature on New Mexico’s very own Institute of American Indian Arts (IAIA).
This event is free to join, but please RSVP as spots will be limited. Folks are welcome to bring their projects to work on as part of Fiber Fun Friday, but please be mindful that there will be limited space.
