Vision Board Session-Fiber Arts on 4th

From Inspiration to Creation: Make your 2026 Fiber Arts Vision Board!

This program is part of Handwork 2026, presented by Craft in America

“Successful manifestation starts with setting your intention, believing that it will become a reality, then taking active steps toward making that abstract idea come to fruition. And that’s where vision boards come in. Whatever goal you have, a vision board is a great tool to have during your journey.” ~  Brigitt Earley from Oprah Daily

Do you have a yarn stash that has been collecting dust? Or a color scheme that you’ve been dying to bring to life but just not sure what project in which to use it? Is there a new skill that you’d love to try out during one of our workshops?

Join Ruth Baldwin and Annie MacHale as they lead a vision board session during the first Fiber Fun Friday of the year! Gain inspiration from your fellow fiber arts enthusiasts and make intentions for a year of creativity and fun.

By visually representing your thoughts in a beautiful, playful, work of personal art, you can enjoy the creation of it and then put it in a prominent place in your home. Seeing it on a regular basis it will remind you of the things you are working towards, both consciously and unconsciously. It’s a sort of manifesting magic according to some.

We will have a limited quantity of the following supplies:
Magazines (remember the freebies that were in the classroom?)
9”x12” craft board (heavy white card stock)
Glue sticks

What you should bring for sure:
Your intentions for 2026
Paper-cutting scissors

Optional:
A blank board of your own choosing
A glue stick or small bottle of white glue
Any words or images that you love can be printed ahead from the internet or copied from
books or artworks
Your own expendable magazines to share
Any yarn, fabric, ribbon, lace, charms, etc. for 3-D embellishments
Gel pens, markers, or other drawing tools if you wish
