A Taste of Rigid Heddle Krokbragd Weaving

With Laura Danielsson Ninnemann

Krokbragd is a Norwegian word that translates to ‘crooked path’ and refers to the appearance of one pattern row of weaving.

Join Laura Danielsson Ninnemann as she leads you into the colorful world of krokbragd weaving on your rigid heddle loom.

This weft-faced traditional Scandinavian technique has been used for centuries to create colorful, dense, and practical items for the home.

Krokbragd’s fun and folksy style will surely capture your curiosity and expand your rigid heddle skill set.

In this workshop, you will learn:

  • yarn/color choices + sett
  • a handy krokbragd warping formula
