Twining and/or Reverse Twining in waxed linen thread to create a pair of earrings.
It’s a bit challenging as a first project, but that’s why we have a day and a half allotted.
Make a set of earrings in your favorite colorway to match an outfit or necklace. Ability to work small is very good. Size, colors, patterns will vary for each student.
- Skill level Beginner
- Age appropriate 16+ (minors must have a parent on site)
- Materials All colors of waxed linen thread, enough to make one pair of earrings. The ear wires and findings are sterling silver, full color detailed photographic instructions provided.

During his years of travel across Africa to meet and work with basket weavers, Cael discovered that basketry is as diverse as it is universal.
