Have scrap yarn leftover from other fiber arts projects? Turn them into baskets!

Coiling is an ancient and global basketry technique in which baskets are made by wrapping yarn or other fibers around a core fiber. This technique is beginner-friendly and great for folks looking for a fun, portable project.

During this class, you’ll learn the basic coiling techniques to apply to making a small basket or coaster.

  • Skill level All
  • Age appropriate 12+ (minors must have a parent on site)
  • Materials fee $15 (includes yarn and other materials to complete your project)
  • Students should bring

    note-taking materials and anything you need to be comfortable and have fun!
